Explanation template

There are many ways to be responsible. help your parents around the house help people
when they look stuck on their work and listen to your teachers while they are talking.

A responsibility might be a way to respect people or when a teachers talking you need to stay
quiet. so you know what you are supposed to do for your work. A way to be kind is helping your
family around the house and do what you have been told.

Being responsible is a way to respect others and at lunch time if someone is lonely, you can ask
if he or she would like to play with you and your friends and have a good day. Being responsible
looks like being a good leader's  look like if someone is not doing the right thing you need to tell
them so they know the way.

Another way of being responsible is by looking after your own belongings without letting your

parents looking after you. If your parents tell you to do the dishes you should do it right a way so
you don’t get told heaps of times.

-reason one: it will be good when you grow up
-reason two: they can be kind back to you
-reason three: so you can learn more when teachers tell you to do stuff -reason four: its caring
and helpful to people.

The lighthouse use keper stories

The lighthouse keeper’s lunch Once there was a lighthouse keeper
Called Mr Grinling. At night time, he lived in a small white cottage perched high on the cliffs.
In the day time he rowed to his lighthouse on the rocks to clean and polish the light. Mr Grinling
was a most industrious lighthouse keeper. Come rain… or shine, he tended his light. Sometimes
at night, as Mr Grinling lay sleeping in his warm bed… the ships would toot to tell him that his
light was shining brightly and clearly out to sea. Each morning while Mr Grinling polished the
light Mrs Grinling worked in the kitchen of the little white cottage on the cliffs concocting a
delicious lunch for home. Once she had prepared lunch she packed it into a special basket and
clipped it onto a wire that ran from the little white cottage to the lighthouse on the rocks. But one
Monday terrible happened. Mrs Grinling had prepared a particularly appetising lunch. She had
made… A mixed seafood salad A lighthouse sandwich and more She put the lunch in the basket
as usual and sent it down the wire. But the lunch did not arrive. It was spotted by three
scavenging seagulls who set upon it and devoured it with great gusto. Clear off you varmints’’,
shouted Mr Grinling, but the seagulls took not the slightest notice. That Evening Mr and Mrs
Grinling decided on a plan to baffle the seagulls. ‘‘Tomorrow I shall tie the napkin to the basket,’’
said Mrs Ginling. “Of course, my dear,’’ agreed Mr Grinling ‘‘A sound plan.’’ On tuesday evening
Mr and Mrs Griniling racked their brains for another plan. ‘‘They are a brazen lot, those seagulls
said Mrs Grinling. Brazen indeed said Mr Grinling. Brazen indeed said Mr Grinling. What shall
we do? Our cat does not appear to like seagulls said Mrs Grinling. Brazen indeed’’, said
Mr Grinling. What shall we do?’’ Our cat does not appear to like seagulls,’’ said Mrs Grinling.
No my dear said Mr Grinling. Hamish is an accomplished seagull chaser.’’ Of course!’’ exclaimed
Mrs Grinling Tomorrow Hamish can guard the lunch.’’ A most ingenious plan agreed
Mr Grinling. Hamish did not think that this plan was ingenious at all. He spat and hissed as Mrs
Grinling secured him in the basket. ‘‘There’ there, Hamish,’’ said Mrs Grinling consolingly, ‘‘I’ll
have a tasty piece of herring waiting for you when you arrive home.’’ Sadly, flying did not agree
with Hamish. His fur stood on end when the basket swayed, his whiskers drooped when he
peered down at the wet, blue sea and he felt much too sick even to notice the seagulls, let alone
scare them away from the lunch. Lackaday, lackaday,’’ said Mr Ginling sadly. ‘‘Miaow, miaow,’’
agreed Hamish pitifully. On Wednesday evening Mr and Mrs Grinling racked their brains again
for a new plan. ‘‘What shall we do? Said Mr Grinling . Mrs Grinling looked thoughtful. I have it!’’
she exclaimed. Just the mixture for hungry seagulls.’’ Indeed my dear,’’ said Mr Grinling What
have you in mind?’’ Wait and see,’’ said Mrs Grinling, just wait and see.’’ Mustard sandwiches,’
’ chuckled Mr Grinling. A truly superb plan my dear, truly superb.’’ On thursday morning Mrs
Grinling carefully packed the mustard sandwiches and sent them off down the wire to the
expectant seagulls.

Shania and Efelata My Genome Sequence

My Genome Sequence
Our bodies are exceptionally clever. Even when we’re asleep, they’re doing all sorts of extraordinary things, like mending themselves. These things don’t happen by magic.
Deep inside our cells is a chemical called DNA. DNA acts like an instruction manual, controlling how our body works. These instructions are made up of four chemical letters that we call A, G, T and C. These repeat 6 billion times. That’s enough letters to take a whopping 57 years to read out aloud.
The complete set that makes you the unique and brilliant individual you are, is called your ‘Genome Sequence’. Around 99% of our sequences are the same. It’s the 1% that makes us all different, deciding everything from our height to our hair colour.
DNA is a bit like the computer code used to give robots instructions. Sometimes a glitch in the code, like a spelling mistake, will create individual differences. Most of the time this isn’t a problem. Sometimes it can even be an advantage. But if a glitch makes the instructions confusing, the robot might not be able to do things as it should. It’s the same with our DNA. Everyone has glitches, but some of us have glitches that cause health problems, because our body isn’t getting the right instructions. For instance, having a glitch in the DNA for your muscles might make you less strong. The only way to find that glitch, is to look closely at your genome sequence.
Genome sequencing is an exciting new technology. By taking a blood sample, scientists can remove the DNA and read your sequence using a high-powered machine. By taking a blood sample, scientists can remove the DNA and read your sequence using a high-powered machine. The
scientists will compare your sequence to thousands of other peoples’, to find the glitch. They might even compare it to your close relatives, like your Mum and Dad.
Working out exactly where your genome is different, can help doctors to diagnose the cause of your condition and decide on the best treatment. It’s still a very new technology so the more people have their genome sequences read and compared, the more we can learn about DNA and the more answers we can find in the future.
  • It's one percent .
  • Our sequences are all the same
  • They could repeat 6 billion times.
  • Some kids could have the same (DNA) as their relatives.
  • Some time it could be an advantage.
  • Everyone has a glitch to them.
  • Genome sequencing is an exciting technology
  • Scientist could remove some people (DNA) because they could have a glitch in them.
  • Sometimes it can even be an advantage.
  • Condition and decide
  • They use chemicals for (DNA).

Persuasion Map

Wednesday 7 August 2019

School hours persuasive

Hook:
Do you know what is persuasive means? well I can tell you all about what it means.

Persuasive means:
Hook: Well Persuasive means convince someone and that we should have more time at school so that we can
finish off our more work. And get better at job when you grow up. School is good for you because you learn more
and You do fun activities and you also get to go on a trip somewhere that is exciting. The reason why teachers come
to school because so that us students can get better at things and to get a good job for your future.
Reason one: school should start earlier and end later because kids would learn more things at school and that
school should start earlier because if you didn’t Finish your work off you will might get into trouble from
Your teacher.

Reason two:
At school it is good to learn because when some other students are stuck on something you can go and help
Them at school it is good to learn because when the teacher asks you a question you know what it is
And you can help them with work. And you can help them get it on there blog and so that they know that you are
being kind.

reason three:
I think that if you go to school more than you can do your reading maths and writing and you never know if you are .
going to go and get a good reading level and get your grades up So that you can get a good job when you grow up

What time you should go to sleep:
I think that you should go to sleep at 8:00 clock so that you can get more sleep for school and I think that school
should Start earlier like at 8:30 because we can finish off more things At school that you haven't done and it will
be better if school can finish later because your parents might be still at work.

It will also be good for kids because they could learn how to read when they are older and fun fact because they
could Be better at learning their reading maths and handwriting They could have a better education and a better
future For you and your family.

Conclusion :
I think that school should start earlier and end later.
